Susan Loewnthal - Consultant to the Creative Industry; Executive Editor The Crafting EdgeAfter many years in the corporate world, as CEO of a Wall Street securities firm, Susan turned to her first love - art. As an artist/designer, she has sold projects to international publications, made guest appearances on television, demonstrated at trade shows and earned a CPD from the CHA .

Susan has extensive experience in product development, package design, demonstration & trade shows. She specializes in custom assignments, high-end designs and home decor. She has extensive knowledge of the craft industry and expertise in most crafts.

As a former member of the (then) HIA Designer Council she and has long been a champion of the designers' place in the craft industry. She was instrumental in creating the first opportunity for designers to showcase their talents at the annual trade show

Susan has demonstrated and taught her art all around the country at various trade shows and studio classes. As an acclaimed artist, her work has sold in several museum gift shops including the American Craft Museum and Museum of Natural History in New York City.

As a Creative Designer, Susan has made guest appearances on national and cable television. Her work has been published in major international and national magazines, books and newspapers.

As an acclaimed Judaica artist, she has been invited to exhibit at the "Annual Celebration of the Arts" co-sponsored by the Israeli Embassy in Washington D.C. and the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.

In 2000, Susan became a Certified Access Producer for Charter's Community TV. The internship enabled her to develop her videography skills and provided a venue for TV shows such as "Kids Cooking For Kids" and "The Crafting Edge".

TheCraftingEdge.com, her most recent venture, is an off-shoot of the TV show.

Susan appears in several editions of "Who's Who in American Women", "Who's Who in America" and "Who's Who in the World".
